Ella Head

Ella Head is a fish counting supervisor and a member of the Four Peaks National Wetland Condition Assessment field team. Ella’s background includes field work and lead experience domestically in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, and South Dakota. She has also worked and studied around the world in South Africa, Tanzania, and Germany. She is an seasoned botanist, who has worked in restoration, youth education, and field research.

Ella has her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration on plants and a minor in Earth and Ocean Sciences from Duke University. She resides in Portland, Oregon, and enjoys hiking, painting, ceramics and trying new foods.
